Hi there my name is Mark Burling and welcome to my DJ for hire business.

Right through from my early teenage years I had a passion for music, dance music in particular. At the age of 16 I started to assit a local DJ and good friend at the time with local gigs this being in the way of all gear set up and helping to DJ all larger events. Within a six month period I went from helping hand to DJing all gigs for him, on a contract basis. After a further year of honing my skills in the industry I approached the owner with a proposal to buy all gear, business and all existing cliental, this was accepted and at the age of 18 I had set myself a foundation for a business that I enjoyed and also wanted to be good at.

Now 11 years later things are going better than ever with local residencys at Barries Bar & Restaurant in Hawera, advert can be heard on radio, Crossroads Bar & Grill in Stratford and a large bulk of the 21sts and other functions in the South Taranaki area.

These events do keep me busy as I am also employed fulltime as a fabrication engineer, but I am aiming to expand my business further by playing at new venues involving new crowds and larger events. I love the challenge of entertaining new faces and will do everything I can using my past exprience to put on an entertaining night for all.

The hiring of myself includes a full quailty sound package involving; JBL, Fender, Mackie and Peavey speakers, full lighting display including intelligent lighting, strobe, lasers, fluorescent and LED based lights and smoke machine to complete effect.

I can assist music wise for any event but personally a nightclub type scene is where I excel best as I am very well set up music wise for this.
