Had a really great day of diving to the Poor Knights yesterday. The shop is based in Whangarei but you board the dive boat in Tutukaka 30 min drive. They brought all the gear for us to/from the boat. The captain and dive master onboard Guy and Simon were terrific and because of the weather we could take advantage of the mild conditions to dive on the eastern side. They asked for our input on dive locations eg we all wanted to see lots of fish. The dives were spectacular and the vessel was accommodating for advanced divers. Half of the vessel brought their rebreather rigs and we all had a fantastic dive experience. It is a smaller boat, well designed for diving, but a smaller deck so best for staggered dive entries. Plenty of amenities like comfortable seating, hot water kettle for warm drinks, and a toilet. Dive gear was quality, dive briefings were concise but had enough information. The snorkeler in our group was also well looked after. We will definitely be coming back!
Our 8 year old, Cameron, has been lucky enough to have a snorkeling lesson with Kaylah and today a scuba lesson with Freya in the pool on Clyde street. Both experiences were amazing. The teachers are so patient and kind and check in to ensure our boy is happy and feeling safe. I don't think enough locals are aware of the pool and lessons available right here in our backyard. Pricing is reasonable too. Thanks again for the water confidence you are giving our son! He might now have the bug!

Exceptional experiences! The entire team are amazing and really focus on ensuring you have a safe and incredible time. Big thanks to Herbie and Freya for 10 star service. The entire team really focus on the needs of the diver, going to the sites that are interesting and suit diver experience and expectation. While available and supportive of all dive levels, they cater incredibly well for the experienced diver who wants to visit a variety of sites at Poor Knights, without compromising safety. I can't wait to dive again with you!
Great service but I may have made a mistake. Was trying to get small wing bladder to improve dump/trim issues, but this bladder smaller volume but still really wide. Is there a narrower equivalent.
Unfortunately we couldn't dive the Poor Knights due to weather conditions, but Simon/Jamie were very helpful with organising gear hire for us from them so we could do a self guided dive instead at a nearby cove. They had a great choice of equipment, gave helpful suggestions for dive locations and we had a great dive with their gear. Thanks so much!
