Been here a couple times first time got a great cut, second time got a different barber that didn't give me a very good cut however I got in touch with them and they were apologetic and offered to sort my hair free off charge, went back to the barber that cut my hair the first time and he did a great job sorting out my hair. Overall good customer service if I hadn't had to go back to get it sorted in the first place would have given 5 stars.
Don’t know my way around Wellington but a quick google search close to Petone came up with Dirtbag Barbers, the pictures looked like a sweet spot so I booked. Dre was top notch, did a great job of the haircut. Premises was also really nice and felt like a real cool hangout! Got to watch the nba playoffs! Definitely recommend if you’re around Lower Hutt, it’s also located inside a surf shop so can hit two birds with one stone!
First time there and probably got the new barber. Complete novice and inexperienced. Asked for a 1 fade, gave me a 2 shave. Perhaps he wasn't accustomed to asian hair. Ask to thin and shorten the top, didn't own a pair of thinners so used regular scissors to shorten my hair too much. He didn't bother touching my sideburns or the neck hair. Customer service was also poor, as he was paying more attention to the rugby on tele than my hair. Didn't clean my hair properly after either, i was walking out of the shop with hair falling onto my clothes and ground. I got this 'cut' for $30. Perhaps I was just unlucky today but I felt cheated of my money and time
