This ferry ride was fantastic! The staff were friendly and courteous, and the sunset views were stunning. We opted to walk on and enjoy the scenery from the top deck. Weekends can be busy, but with multiple ferries, wait times are minimal. I highly recommend this experience for families and anyone looking for a fun adventure. The crew is always helpful and ensures everyone's safety. A perfect way to end a perfect day. The sights and ocean breeze are truly amazing. Kudos to the wonderful team for providing such a great experience
Friendly helpful knowledgeable staff providing a professional service around the Harbour.
It is very joyful to take the ferry for free to Diamond Harbour and walk along the Cliff Coastal Track. There are lots of sailboats berthing at the dwarf. We also saw some boys training swimming in the sea. At the dwarf there are some locals diving and playing in the sea, with their cute dogs. It is a must go in such nice day.
Beautiful place and a bit of history attached. We used blac cat ferry from Littleton. We could c the dolphins too. we were lucky that day.there are some small restaurant available. You can go around for nice view.
Visited on Waitangi Day, when the ferry was running a Saturday timetable. Middle of the day was very busy and our 12.50 sailing was full with about 20 people left behind. However a second ferry returning from the Quail Island trip did a quick turnaround and ran an extra run to the half hourly service.nCrew were very professional and friendly.nA quick walk up the hill to the toilets and back in time for the return trip.nWe only ended up paying for one grandchild $8 return as the second was under 5 so free, and we used our Gold Card, so were also free.nNext time we will try the cafe at the top of the hill.
