Our customers are busy dairy farmers who want a professional service and the assurance that future stock are well looked after.
Often dairy farmers may be too busy to visit their stock on-site but our clients will have regular updates from us to provide peace of mind.
A target weight is set on arrival and agreed on by both farmer and grazier.
The target weight is documented in a Federated Farmers Grazing Contract which will be signed by both parties.
We will weigh heifers every 8 weeks to provide clients with solid evidence of progress.
We will also update them monthly with digital photos and/or recordings of stock in the paddock.
Clients will appreciate that they can deal personally with the grazier. The grazier deals with every animal daily and this brings the advantage of a service that feels personal and accountable.
Stock will be given an oral and injected drench on arrival as part of the 12-month drench programme.
All drenching costs are covered by the Grazier.
Zinc via dosatron administered daily and cost covered by Grazier.
Quality of soil and pasture is high and contour of the farm is gentle.
Farm is local to Waikato dairy farms.
Grazier is a former large-herd dairy farmer and is very experienced in pasture management and animal husbandry.
