What an awesome experience! Rolled in quite late, the staff were super welcoming and friendly, provided very good advice about my delicious and entertaining dinner. Stone grill is dangerous and exciting and wonderful. Had a lovely time and would definitely recommend for a nice dinner with a friend or special person

An unexpected but delightful find. A great location for some delicious food. The menu caters for all tastes, the added novelty of the stone grill cooking at your table. A most pleasant experience
Meals and service were of reasonable quality. The menu displayed outside was not the same as the inside menu which was frustrating as we went in because of what we read on the displayed menu. We still enjoyed the meals we had.
Great staff, excellent food, nice environment
The seafood dishes we ordered were all really nice. The wine selection was great too. A very big thank you to Jo and the young lady from OZ who looked after us. We had a lovely night.

Excellent evening at Detour's in Whakatane, the meals were very tasty and more than enough on each plate..alot.. the staff and service was 100%, they made the experience fabulous, and we will be back for sure...and a huge thank you to our dear friends for a great night out..
