Story

Destiny's main church is located in Auckland but has a number of churches throughout the nation. The churches are strategically located in the main centres, having a unified vision their mission is to reach out to the local community. Overseer Bishop Brian Tamaki has a passion to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to the nation with a desire to see souls saved and added to the church. Destiny embraces all people with the hope that many would come to know God personally and become part of the church family.

Ok, so forget the media hype, check it out for yourself... EVERY SUNDAY 10:00 am 25 DRUCES RD, MANUKAU, AUCKLAND. ALL WELCOME MY EXPERINCE: When I first visited, I felt like I'd come home although I visited for a year and observed before I joined. Many others I know have said the same thing about their first visit. It's a church actually set up for men, which is the first thing you'll notice and the second is how generous the people are with their time and money. With the ManUp, Legacy, Boys2Men and Diamonds programmes this church is out in the streets doing the mahi. Helping men, women and young people identify, face, and replace, dysfunctions in their lives. From dope to hope, anger and violence to peacemakers, from addictions to freedom, from low self esteem to knowing who they are, from absent fathers to doting dads, from separated men to married men, gangster unemployed to fully employed or self employed...
A hate group pretending to be a church. The wannabe gangster layman conman preacher consistently spreads garbage, and encourages dangerous behavior in the name of "religious freedom". This isn't a church, it is a political entity and should be taxed and regulated as such. This is a dangerous cult of personality that has no place in New Zealand.
So glad my family & I attend this church and have been since lockdown 2021 and to be under Apostle Brian Tamaki is a honour for us to receive revalation from him and an awesome house of God
Destiny Church should be labelled a hate group, at the very least a public nuisance. Destiny Church also needs to register as a profiteering business and NOT a tax-exempt charity. What a joke of a church led by greedy leaders who thrive on the tithings of the poverty stricken.
What a scam this guy is taking hard earned money from vulnerable people to build his own ego and to live in luxury. Perhaps he missed the part in the Bible that speaks of the sins of worshipping wealth and riches. Hypocrite and fraudster.
I thought maybe it.was okay at the start when Brian started talking, but as he went on I could see this was not the Church for me. It felt like he was hiding behind their faith to say horrible things about other religions, the government, lifestyles, and identities. I understand that somethings are not seen as okay in the Christian community, but this just felt mean and hatred filled. Maybe someone else will enjoy it, but I didn't. As soon as the sermon was finished, I felt like crying. I had a lump in my throat, and I didn't feel like eating despite not having breakfast. For conservative Christians, this is the place for you. For inclusive Christians that believe in their faith but are respective of how others live, don't ever choose this one. On a side note, for people sensitive to light and sound, do not come here unless there's a quieter service. I thought it was really loud and the lights overwhelmed me.
Love everything about the people the building and atmosphere is amazing
Destiny Church is a supportive community that has helped my marriage, my children and of course myself to be great, to have more and to help others have better in life. It is full of beautiful people who want the best for you and your family. No matter what your circumstances there is more for all of us then we could ever imagine. I love it and encourage anyone to check it out for yourself.
Love that I walked in as a stranger and left as family. Very friendly! Worship team was awesome! People friendly and most importantly loved the preached word from the Apostle! Absolutely different from what the media paint Destiny church to be! Best place to bring your whole family to
