Came for brunch on the weekend. We had the creamy mushroom and prosciutto on bread, and the seafood pasta. Both were excellent! Highly recommend the mushrooms, it was excellent value.
Great service and food. They gave my 90 year old Dad a free dessert for Father's day. Very sweet
I came with a group this evening. Absolutely lovely food. I had a delicious lamb meal and red wine. For dessert I had a afogatto with baileys. We had a fabulous host, with great sense of humour. She easily put diners at ease, and went beyond her duty to ensure a diner was provided appropriate attention and support following an unexpected situation. Well done! I will certainly be recommending to others and coming back
November2022: coffee and bun for lunch. Hugely disappointed with the Bun and content. Around the $7.00 for a small fitted into palm of hand stale bun, smidge of spread that wasn't even spread, 1/2 a slice of a slither of tomato, even smaller smidges of cheese that could not be flavour tasted what a waste. Saving item for this was the peppery meat. This was a takeaway, so I have reluctantly eaten it. Coffee was okay. December2021: food was stunning. Fresh and flavoursome. Drink.. Under cocktail : GinTonicMintice bout $15.00 not even in a fancy glass.

Had such an amazing dinner here last night. The pizzas were to die for and they can make any pizza vegan which is amazing . We had gelato for dessert which was amazing too. The lady who served us was so kind and had a great sense of humour. Would rate this place 11/10 if I could . Vegetarian options: Vegan Pizza and Other dishes
Base on my experience in working to many cafes in Paraparaumu, I may say it's the most clean and quality kitchen so far I respect and I keep telling the whole NZ I am proud I learned many things in this Cafe. Respect , humble, great customer service , keeping the surrounding friendly . Their kitchen is very clean compare to which cafes I ve worked. I can name all the cafes I worked and seen kitchen pretty incomparable at Mediterranean. I choose which cafe I go. As a cook I know every single details from utensils , chopping board color code , towels, benches where as a cook or chef prepare the food. If you see me very often in Mediterranean means I trust the cleanliness. FOOD is great. Staffs are friendly. The ambience is warm and comfortable.
The most wonderful staff and delicious food! The young man who served us was especially patient with my Grandparents which meant more than you will ever know!! Exceptional Customer service when the restaurant was busy and it was just the 2 of them! Thank you so much

Their closing time on Sunday is 9pm, I have just moved to Kapiti and was excited to dine here for my first meal. I called to make a booking and they've decided to close 2hrs early because they're quiet.
