Fantastic service! Very convenient, they even provide shuttle service from Ohakune to the alpine crossing. Lovely drivers, I really enjoyed my ride with them.
Fantastic service to get up to Turoa. Thanks Stacey and Caleb. Good clear booking system online. Really nice bus. Really friendly staff with good communication. These folks went the extra mile to give us the best possible service. After some heavy snow and icy conditions this was by far the best way to get up the mountain. We were first up the mountain and many cars got held up due to the icy conditions, with even four wheel drive vehicles having trouble and holding up all the cars behind them as they had to put chains on or get towed up "that steep bit". The journey taking hours for some - leaving us to enjoy the first couple of hours of skiing with no queues
Stacey and Caleb I think it was, they are the great bus drivers who got us up Turoa from Ohakune when the road was deep in snow. Everyone else was crawling up the traffic jam, putting on chains & skidding off the road while we cruised up safely and even got some nice fresh snow with no queues. Thanks so much!!!

Friendly and experienced bus driver and the buses are always on time. Great service! Makes getting up the mountain a much more relaxing experience.
Dempseys were fantastic when we were able to contact them with an SOS halfway through our Round the Mountain tramp. They picked us up at the top of the Ohakune Mountain Rd and seamlessly dropped us back at Whakapapa Village. Thank you!
Great Service, We had Stacey drive us a couple of times this week who was fabulous, patient and entertaining while we waited between road closures.
just want to give a massive shoutout to all the lovely drivers at Dempsey’s. I was hiking the tongariro northern circuit, and forgot to organise transport to and from the hike Doh!. I called Dempsey’s a day before and they saved me! On the day I was due to start the hike, a driver even took me up in his personal truck - as a bus wasn’t running up to the alpine crossing that day because of the bad weather. 10/10 would recommend this terrific service. Affordable, reliable and run by a bunch of lifesavers
