About

Dellta Contractors Limited, reinforcing placement specialists, was established by Directors Mark and Cherie Hammond in April 2014. In 2019 Dellta Academy (specialised Labour Hire) was established to compliment our core business.

Story

Dellta Contractors was formed in 2014 to provide high quality, reliable and professional steel fixing and reinforcing services to local construction firms. Operated by Mark Hammond (Director, Operations Manager) and Cherie Hammond (Director, Business Manager), they previously traded along with family as Hunters Contractors (New Zealand) Limited and held a extremely strong reputation amongst their clientele for ten years before. In 2011 they temporarily relocated to Western Australia after securing subcontract work on the Gorgon and Wheatstone projects. Prior to returning to New Zealand, work was also completed on the Perth Children's Hospital. Dellta Contractors Limited are very pleased to be successfully subcontracting to Nauhria Reinforcing in Auckland as well as having recently secured the McKay to Peka Peka Expressway subcontract from Fletcher Construction.

Dellta Contractors main financial strength stems from its low operational overheads. The Directors hold a wide range of skills and attributes including financial business planning and budgeting, marketing, IT, managerial and construction relevant industry experience. They also pride themselves on an enjoyable working environment where staff are mentored and encouraged to achieve.
