Story

Located in one of Auckland's best Winery Regions, Waiheke Island!
Dellows Vineyard and Distillery is on the main tourist route for visitors to Waiheke Island. We host hundreds of tourists every week for wine and spirit tastings. Dellows Distillery is known for premium Spirits, Liqueurs, and Wine. We use only natural botanicals and with no synthetic flavours or additives in any of our products.

Situated on 8 acres of pristine sloping land on beautiful Waiheke Island in the Hauraki Gulf. We offer accommodation nestled in our Vineyard and Distillery. Dellows Waiheke is located in the main wine belt "vineyard valley" an area with 8 of Waiheke Island's best known vineyards, all just a short walk away. Award winning wines, beers, and fresh foods.

We are a short 40 minute ferry trip from downtown Auckland, New Zealand’s largest city. A 10 minute walk away is Onetangi Beach, with white pristine sands, clear pure clean seas and restaurants and bars along the waterfront.

Directly opposite Dellows is the Waiheke Golf Course an easy 5 minute walk to the Café and course facilities. Activities popular on the island include: mini golf, charter fishing, beach activities, scenic tours, and winery tours.

Dellows Waiheke is a great base for your holiday or activities. We offer spacious premium accommodation. Suitable for corporate groups, families, and people who desire space and privacy. We have smaller "stable" units similar to hotel rooms.

We are a small boutique vineyard and distillery producing the best flavors and tastes from grapes and fruit grown on our site, if you enjoy aromas, purity and fun wines and spirits, you’re in the right place.

Amazing service! The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The smash burger is one of the best burgers my partner and I have ever had! Fried chicken really good too. To top it off their on tap Larger and Gin Fizz were delightful. Prices are very fair. Will definitely be recommending The Heke :
I loved the food, which was absolutely delicious. The vibes and the scenery was great too. Although we did get a little confused about how we were supposed to order the food as they initially asked us to scan the barcode at the table to order, but ended up ordering at the bar, we enjoyed our meals and also the lovely scenery and views after all! Also there are some great spots for photos.
Great brewery and eatery recently opened on the island. Pretty amazing staff and the food was on point. Make a reservation or you will certainly be out of luck. I’ll come back for sure!!!! Oh and the kids can bounce outside…adults can too. Pet’s are welcome. Just keep your yip yip dog quiet. Lol!Recommended dishes
Easy, chilled vibe location. Pet friendly and also a lot of things to do for the kids. Me and partner ordered 2 pizza’s both with gluten free bases and it was amazing. Same with a zucchini dish. Their local vodka was amazing, and same with their red wine. Customer service - 5/5 Food quality - 5/5 Pricing - 4/5 a little bit more expensive, compared to other pizza places we have been too on the island
Straight off the ferry & my whanau who live on the island took me to this new establishment. What a lovely setting with good food enjoyed by all especially the Heke smashed burger which collected rave responses. Nice vibe & a DJ tomorrow night so we may be back
This is a very special place!! Set up, vibe, food, service all impeccable. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel extremely welcome - big shout out to Harry our server! Every dish was exceptional and their beer delicious! We can't wait to come back and even bought our parents gift vouchers for Christmas. We'll be back soon!
Had the best lunch ever yesterday at The Heke Feb 2, 2023, in such a beautiful relaxed spot. The staff are just the best, nice to be genuinely treated like your the only one there - from when you arrive to leaving, always keeping an eye on the table at a distance special shout out to Harry and wish I got the other lady's name. Highly recommend, thanks for making our wedding anniversary extra special. Kid-friendliness: There were a few kids with plenty of area to run around, and activities to amuse them. Parking: Lots of parking. Wheelchair accessibility: Have a sign you can take car up to a carpark right by restaurant.
Beautiful food and drinks. Loved our whiskey tasting session today in the most cozy spot. Mark is so passionate in sharing his knowledge and journey with whiskey making. Looking forward to the new releases.
We came around 1PM and it was very busy, but they managed to find us a place. I unfortunately can’t say much about their own beer, as they were not brewing at the time, instead using guest beers. However, their beer focaccia is amazing! Very good texture and filling. And their caprese salad has a little secret: they also use some smoked tomatoes which really changes the flavor profile! The place seems cozy and the staff helpful!
Dropped by to do a tasting of their whiskys, really enjoyed the whole experience. The whiskys, beer and chips were a great mix. I would love to come back again to spend more time and have a proper meal here. The food at other people's tables look amazing, I'm sure it matches the quality of the spirits
