Defyd Williams is a professional celebrant who works closely with couples to ensure their wedding ceremony expresses their unique relationship. Defyd offers couples customised wedding services in the Waikato, Coromandel and Bay of Plenty Area.
After much encouragement from friends, family and former students, I become a celebrant so I could help connect committed couples with ceremonies customised to reflect their relationship.
In 2016 I graduated from the New Zealand Celebrant School and have since been fortunate enough to be asked to officiate for wonderful couples from Queenstown to Hot Water Beach.
As a former journalist and teacher I have excellent written and verbal communication skills and love helping couples find the words that express their true feelings and commitment to each other. I can also help the wedding party and MC prepare speeches.
On top of my celebrant and speech writing services, I frequently MC at weddings, anniversary dinners, milestone birthday parties and children's naming ceremonies.
