I can’t recommend Deep Focus because they handled my case in a dishonest and unprofessional way. I visited Deep Focus because my iphone X suddenly stopped working. I was told the diagnosis is $59 and I agreed. When I came back they told me their software couldn't recognise the iPhone, because it was probably handled by an unauthorised service before and that the battery was dead. The ONLY option they offered was to change the battery, which according to them wouldn't entirely solve my issue because something was wrong with the software. The diagnosis didn't seem right to me because my family bought the Iphone new in an original Apple store and was never handled by any 3rd party repair shop. So I decided to visit another repair shop. They gave me the diagnosis and solved the issue within 15 minutes for $60 top ear piece speaker with sensor flex cable was broken. Glad that I didn't proceed with the battery, which was dead according to Deep Focus, as it is showing the same battery health as before. I called Deep Focus to inform them about the wrong diagnosis I paid for and politely asked for a refund. Any business can make a mistake but they should admit it and act accordingly in my case offering a refund. They asked me to send them the receipt I got from the repair shop, which I did. What a surprise to read their answer by email. They LIED about the optionS they offered reminder - only battery change option was mentioned during my visit. They commented that in the end I should be happy that the whole thing cost me only $59 their wrong diagnosis + $60 fix by the other repair shop while they would have charged me $569 for fixing the issue they didn’t diagnose and after seeing the receipt from the other repair shop. The refund was denied. What a disappointment and bad manners from Deep Focus. Any other honest and professional business would have offered a refund as a genuine gesture for an apology. No need to mention that it’s a customer’s right. On top of that they accused me of writing someone’s else review and asked me to delete it. Unacceptable!
Totally above average service all-round. The handsome Italian gentleman and the Australian owner were extremely accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. Not only this, but it seems that the pair share more than half a brain cell between them and were able to fix up my iPad, iMac and Apple watch in record time without compromise on quality. When you have such a terrible accident and are at a loss, it brings great comfort to have Deepfocus to rely upon. It's almost as if the company is co-owned by EA/Dice who build quality products for their customers. 5*!
The worst customer service experience and really bad knowledge about apple products and IT. If you don’t want to spend your money inefficiently visit any other repair shop in the area. These guys don’t mind charging you for nothing - literally. They could have a successful “professional liers” business because that’s what they are good at.
We visited Deep Focus after our son’s iPhone was badly damaged on the local Luge, a common occurrence apparently! Eden Brackstone was extremely helpful in salvaging and saving all data possible from the phone as it was not backed up. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable and reassuring throughout the process and we would very highly recommend his organisation.
incredible, astounding service! dropped computer off 5 days before leaving the country and it was fixed it in record time with constant, consistent communication. huge shout out to eden brackstone for being an absolute legend. super helpful, detail-oriented, logical man who knows what he's doing and gets it done. really feels like he truly cares about the wellbeing of you and your electronic device. Dropped my device off 14 days ago, and was verbally advised a wait time of “up to 5 working days”. Communication from DeepFocus has been non-existent the entire time, despite attempting to call them on 4 seperate days last week. I would be understanding if there was some kind of delay. But at least have the courtesy to communicate this to your customers, rather than leaving them in the dark. 15 days later, and I still no idea where they are at with my device.
I was really happy with my recent service. Customer service was excellent, wish I got the name of the person who served me. They were very friendly and professional. Clean and tidy place. Would absolutely recommend!
This team actually cares. I'm quite picky about tech and the team at DF genuinely care about their customers and genuinely give the best quality advice. They really know their stuff, are friendly and are super helpful. I recommend them to everyone.
Matteo and his team are lifesavers, troubleshooting my Apple iPhone and iMac with aplomb, technical expertise and efficiency. Matteo, particularly, is friendly, attentive and warmly sympathetic when receiving customers in distress “making it all better.”
