Quite a lot of spaces for freedom campers. Flush toilets open 24/7 and next to a library so you can actually use their WiFi if you park close enough. Please respect the hours and leave before the designated time so the locals can use the car park too. Especially important to leave early on Sunday morning as they have to set up for the morning market.
We stayed overnight since Harbourside beach reserve was full.nnOvernight sites are clearly makes here. Public toilets and water fountain nearby. Also some wifi connection from.nearby library.nnNoisy until late in the night a man clearly under the influence yelling at 1am for someone and that he'd kill him, party noise until 2am. Three campers pulled off at this late hour, presumably due to the noise.nnSince it was a Saturday night, we had to leave site early to allow for Sunday morning market.
Nice town parking spot, enough places. Toilets, bakery and visitor center next toparking place. The nearby bar Sprig +fern offers food and a good range of regional craft beers.
At tourist season campers park over the time alloted to them. Out by 8 am. Older people need the parks and appointments etc.nMost park spaces are for 2 hours. Those against the green park are for longer.
Awful experience with drunk yelling people for 3 hrs who parked right there next to campers. but if you get the right day good.
