Visited Astonish for the first time today while on a work trip to Christchurch. Fantastic service from the friendly welcome to bright and very clean facilities. Had a manicure service with A+ service and really enjoyed the experience especially the hand and arm massage. Lovely manicure and appreciated the advice when asked about looking after the manicure. Impressive range of products and a lovely team and welcoming vibe. Would definitely visit again. Highly recommendService: Manicure

Very disappointed. Second time going there and had the formula from my old hairdresser on what I wanted. Told it would take a couple of visits to get it back to what I had. Understood that, but the last visit I left in tears so unhappy with the non colour in my hair after 2 hours. It was worse than the first appt that I had turned up for, so instead of going forwards towards the colour, we went backwards. No apology, no acknowledgment that I was so unhappy at all. Wont be recommending or going back.

I have used Astonish many times.. I love going there for Hair services and facials. Have got my mani and pedi done a couple of times only. They have amazing ambience and friendly and welcoming staff and services. My last visit was a little disappointing as I booked for couple of services at 3:30pm. I was told I can get pedi, microderm and a mini manicure for 99 bucks but as I asked to personalized it a bit. But as they were closing at 5, my beauty consultant was a bit in rush. The pedicure was super quick, not as nice as some of the malls etc do.. was a quick buff and paint 45 bucks. The microderm was good but again felt a lil rushed. I couldnt get the manicure done as it was already 4:40 by the time we finished. I requested if I can get just nail polish done as my nails are pretty short and clean anyway but the lady there politely refused. I understand the timing however if I knew I would have picked another time slot. So I basically paid 85 for the services rather than getting 3 things done for 99 : Was asked to come back again for manicure but its a 40 mins drive from where I come from.. so Nah thanks. I will be super careful from next time to never book in the afternoon again as everybody Gotta Go Home! ;

Deb is extremely professional and always curs my hair perfectly... eith tight ringlets it hard to find such a proficient hairdresser !

Always an enjoyable time with my hairdresser. Clean and fun environment.

I was very happy with my color and the staff were nice but the charges were crazy expensive......... I emailed the next day to query bill with no reply so I emailed again 2 days later. A few days later I called and spoke to manager she was looking in to it, I never heard back. I called 1 week later and finally someone dealt with it. I will give them credit they refunded $40 but was still more than I was quoted. Was a shame it ruined my experience

Love it here at Astonish, have been getting my hair done by Krystle for the past 3 years and love it every single time! Krystle always does such an amazing job and is so gentle and friendly! All of the other staff members are friendly, approachable and willing to help too. Wouldn’t go anywhere else...highly recommend!!

I have been visiting Astonish Hair and Beauty for almost two years, and feel privileged to have Krystle as my stylist. She knows exactly what she is doing, and works wonders with my hair. Krystle put a plan into place to get my hair really healthy, and we now have a maintenance regime to keep it that way. I absolutely love visiting the salon, and I'm always made to feel welcome even by other stylists. Earlier this year, I was fortunate to have Krystle create the most beautiful hairstyle for my wedding. She also took care of the bridesmaids and we received so many compliments. Thanks so much!
