Great place to visit. I bought milk chocolate nougat.nI'd be interested to know what sort of timber was used on the interior. The wood is a nice colour.
Very nice Dutch Flour Mill and very good to have the views on levels going up to the balcony.
Tons of good Dutch food and household items. Some items were a little on the pricier side but all of it is authentically Dutch so I would imagine its quite a feat to get it all shipped. Paid the extra little bit to tour the upstairs area. Very interesting to see and love that they provided a booklet with information. Well worth it!
De Molen windmill is a fully functioning replica of a traditional Dutch windmill built in Foxton in 2002. Climb the stairs halfway to the top for a unique experience. Try playing some traditional Dutch castle games made out of wood and enjoy the view in every direction from the second floor balcony. We were delighted to be inside when the windmill started up and could watch the intricate cogs and pulleys working on several levels. We bought some flour milled there just this week to make our own bread at home. Highly recommended as a place to visit and explore when you’re in Foxton.
