Story

The De Luxe Theatre is a community theatre in Opotiki.

The theatre is managed by a group of dedicated volunteers.

We are very proud to now have digital cinema technology available at The De Luxe which also includes 3D capabilities.

Please write us a review and contact us with any queries that you may have about the theatre.

Ticket Prices:
Adult $14.00
Senior $10.00
Student (with ID) $10.00
Child (5-15) $7.00
Family pass $35.00 = 2 adults/2 children or 1 adult/4 children
Hire of 3D glasses $2.00 per film for 3D Films.

Group bookings are available by arrangement .

Real old picture theatre great place to visit great to take family to movies.
Good in small town
Went this evening to watch The gentlemen. Had the cinema to ourselves. The screen is a good size and the seats comfortable. Tickets $14 for an adult and a large popcorn was only $4.
Went to see a movie, kids walking in and out of the door throughout the film, letting light stream in. Effectively ruining the film. Only bother if you absolutely have to.
Cool retro theatre, takes me back to my youth.
Love the placce great prices friendly and helpful volunteers. Great place for the whole family
A very cool, cute little unexpected theatre with lovely owners. Very friendly and seemingly community involved. Very few people too.
Best theatre in town and best and the cheapest prices out. Great family passes to might I add.
