New Concept:
Hotel d'Urville is moving forward by re-branding and renaming its restaurant into de Burgh's Bistro @ Hotel d'Urville.
New Chef:
We are also very excited to introduce our new head chef Jessica Etienne by way of Nice in the South of France. Jessica has trained for 5 years under famed chef Alain Ducasse. She brings a real passion and flair for great food, her cuisine is light, elegant and use of natural flavours is her forte. Jessica reconnects with her good friend, our pastry chef Sabah Hamia, who has worked together before on the French Riviera. Sabah has been with us for about a year now, she has made a real impact on our menu by creating superb desserts, light with beautiful flavour combinations. Another key element of our new kitchen is Fritz Engermann, our Chef de Partie, who is a dedicated young and enthusiastic chef which makes up the brigade.
New Price:
As part of our new concept, Jessica and her team have now created a new Bistro style menu which also allows us to reduce our prices and make it more accessible to a wider range of diners. Everyone should be able to enjoy good food and good wine!
We are also compiling function and canapé menus for our private dining room which can facilitate up to 30 people as sit down meal, perfect for important business meeting and Christmas functions.
