Story

de Brood Bakkers has been specialising in Artisan Baking for over 20 years, and has built a reputation and brand based on the quality and taste of our products - made with love, and made by hand: the old fashioned way!

Our par baked baguettes have become a familiar accompliment to many NZ meals, with the fabulous concept that you can buy our baguettes and rolls and finish them off in the oven at home - The result? Fresh bread brough straight from your oven to your table!

With wholesale capcity throughout the North & South Islands, you will find our breads in many New World supermarkets, and various deli's throughout the country, and this is something that we are actively working on, to extend! So if there is somewhere that you would like to see our bread, then please let us know!

We also have a bakery door retail shop; de Brood Bakker's Fresh, for
Continental and other specialty breads and delicious pastry
products and treats! Our big news for 2012 is that as from Tuesday 7th August, our Fresh Bakery Door retail shop will be open on Tuesdays through to Saturday!!

We will be offering handmade pies, and filled rolls in addition to all the other delicious artisan products that we offer. You will even be able to pick up a fab cup of coffee to takeaway too!!
