It was an excellent experience to go to Daytona and be inside the most famous track in the world, we went to the Jeep Beach festival, it is a “crazy pod” the volunteers and everyone who was there were happy, the vibe was spectacular!!! Daytona here I go again
This is the closest racetrack to us. I like to go here for the several car shows they have during the year and for the museum. This is the best time to visit as there is plenty of spaces to park then. If they are having a race make sure you get there early as it will fill up quickly. The museum is real nice and you can see the history of the track there as well as some of the cars that raced on it. This is also the place to buy your souvenirs.
One of the best experiences I had on my Florida visit! Most people are not aware that you can actually buy tour tickets that will take them directly on the actual race track near the start finish line! which is super cool as you get to experience the track by being actually on it!
What can I say, amazing venue even just for the tour. I say just but the time taken by the staff in the tour and the details provided were amazing. The museum is great to see too and invokes the spirit of Indy perfectly. Would highly recommend.
Very modern and clean facility, visited for the 2023 Daytona 24h in January and it was my first time being there since I was little. New modernized front stretch seating, conformable seats. Was neat to be able to sit anywhere during the entire 24h race, that was a really neat touch. Place is absolutely massive so pace yourself during the 24h. Luckily the taste of 24 experience can take you away from the racing for a little bit for some good food from local eateries. All and all I'd say it was a fantastic visit and will definitely be back for future Rolex 24hrs.
This place is LEGENDARY. We worked the infield for the Rolex 24 at the eBay motors booth and enjoyed the facility very much. The staff was accommodating and helpful getting us where we needed to go, but be realistic when coming or leaving from this place. It takes time. There’s a lot of traffic in and out of this facility and only a couple ways in and out of the infield. The bleachers give a great vantage point and the big monitors help see the action from a far. I like the pole position towers so you can always keep and eye on who is in the lead. Food options are no that great in my opinion. Would like to see some variety of something a little better, but we at the wrap shack and enjoyed that.
Great place to hold the event Heroes for Honor. I’ve never been to Daytona Speedway before and was amazed on how big the venue is. The concerts were awesome, the people making presentations were amazing and lots to see with the vendor’s. Parking was managed perfectly and lots of golf carts to move people around. Lots of room for everyone to spread out, restrooms were abundant and easily accessible. Lots of tents for shade.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time here! Our tram tour guide was fantastic with so much interesting knowledge...he was so friendly! Loved going up in the stands too. Having admittance to the Race Museum was a wonderful bonus...being a race family this was a the best part of our trip!
The iconic track for NASCAR and the ROLEX series. Great racing here. It can be hard to see whats going on depending on what race is happening and where the monitors are but the track and staff are great. Bathrooms were fine. Bunch of racing series hold events throughout the year. Very nice museum available and a tour of the track which is nice. Gift shop is decent also.
They've really improved the fan experience over the years here. You can't have a bad time at DIS even when the weather isn't optimal. We had the coldest weather for the Rolex 24 and I'm not a cold weather girl but I braved it and had an awesome time with my Mom!
