I rode at davis stables for 2-3 terms and he was very unprofessional, his horses are unsafe and the way he speaks to the children that he "trains" is disgusting. My confidence in riding went down after riding with davis and I am still trying to build that confidence back after leaving davis stables about a year ago. He often shows up to lesson drunk and does things that put the children and ponies at risk
It was just a one off ride, but I really enjoyed it. As a Newby it was a bit rough at the beginning, but had a chance to learn the fundamentals in a short time. A good place if you wish to learn. Yes, he sounds a bit rough, but he is not. Will ride again.
