Booked over the phone, got a good deal for two people. Warm welcoming. Hosts were very informative about the history of the railway and surroundings. Nice surprise with a hot drink and delicious scones provided half way during our journey. Overall awesome experience

This is a great experience travelling along a section of the disused rail line. Through tranquil areas of the countryside. Morning tea at the turn around point of the short trip is great, with home made baking. The short trip is only about 2 hours. Absolutely enjoyed this tour! Highly recommend this tour trip. It’s a peaceful drive to Dargaville for this pleasant and relaxing tour taken by even nicer knowledgeable people. Not forgetting - the scones were so delicious : Cheers for the tour!

This is awesome! It is a different experience of using rail road on a golf cart! Coffee, Tea with scones and Easter eggs it was Easter weekend. The people who run this are very nice, informative and passionate about what they do. It is a "must do" thingy. Track goes through farms where you can enjoy picturesque landscapes.

We did the rail trip to Tangowahine today and had an awesome time. Loved every minute. A unique adventure on our doorstep. Great guides who are informative and supplied a tasty halfway cuppa with an assortment of baked treats. We'll be back to do a longer trip next time.
