I have been going to Dans for a couple of years now for all our cars. Knowledgeable and affordable place in the heart of the town. Great customer service and professionalism amidst Dans very busy schedule. Will definitely be using their services again.

Dan was amazing to fit me in to check my car when he was super busy with other jobs and considering he works by himself! Absolutely love taking my car here. Dan always fixes everything for my warrant and his work is awesome. Even supplies the courtesy car if needed. Highly recommend Dan's Automotive. Also if you ever need financial support he offers Geneopay which you can pay off over 10 weeks.

Dan was absolutely brilliant, we broke down and needed a fairly big repair done quickly, Dan was the only garage who even could be bothered to talk to us, let alone help. Dan thankfully was very open and willing to help me out with my car just before the Xmas and new year break and allowed me to use a courtesy car over this period, which was extremely appreciated. It was friendly and efficient service, would highly recommend and use again.

I've been coming here for odd jobs the last 4 years and despite what others have said I thought the prices were good.. I consider what I can buy the parts for and how much labor is required when justifying paying someone else to do a job I could do and I've generally been happy paying Dan. I've had a job where he bought the wrong filter because my engine was abnormal, he sorted it himself and didn't charge anything extra. I had him change fluids and belts, my gearbox filter is abnormal and instead of attempting it just to make money he provided advice.. In the end I had to go to Wellington to find someone able to do the job as a few local business I contacted had no idea but were willing to "try". Not sure about others expectations but I generally tell someone what I want done and any issues contact me, I appreciate an honest worker over someone that'll try anything for the extra money.

I visited Dan's to get my washer bottle and front bumper fixed after a minor collision. Dan was very quick with all of my queries and managed to quickly source the required washer bottle despite it being an uncommon part. I will be coming back to Dan's for future needs

General service - Dan was friendly, professional and did a wonderful job on my car at relatively short notice. Courtesy car very much appreciated. Highly recommended!
