We are staying here at The Dannevirke Holiday Park for a week. It is beautiful, so quiet and sheltered by mature trees. We are very impressed with Toni who is the new manager. He is friendly and helpful plus he is the only camp manager that I know of in New Zealand that has his own steam punk smoker. We really enjoyed our stay in the self-contained cabins in April in the Dannevirke Holiday Park.nThe cabins were very clean, great to have the shower and toilet in the cabins, and it was also nice to have a small fridge in Cabin A, please consider putting a small fridge in Cabin B as well.nThe kitchen was very clean, and the grounds were nicely kept, we really liked seeing all the pretty trees there.nThanks very much to the manager Tony Shannon for being very helpful, friendly and hardworking.nWe really enjoyed the relaxed and friendly feel of the camp, and we would like to stay again.nBill & Bronwyn MullisnFrom Wellington
Beautiful, well maintained campsite. Generously spaced pitches allows you to enjoy the nature. Kitchen, laundry and shower facilities are all excellent. Cheerful staff. Kid and dog friendly. Highly recommend, thank you for the stay and being so happy to help!
Lovely campground, nice & quiet away from the road and facilities kept clean. Reasonable pricing. Tony was very friendly too.
I have just spent 3 days here, what a beautiful spot,you are surrounded by big beautiful trees and green lawns tended with care next to a wildlife reserve, absolutely beautiful and peaceful. The amenities are clean and well maintained. A must stop.thank you for a lovely stay and congratulations to the young man running it he couldn't have been more helpful or friendly.
