Story

Welcome to the Dannevirke Golf Course!
Here your golfing ability will be well tested on our scenic course with its great variety of holes. You'll need to cope with some hills, valleys and lots of trees. Make sure you avoid the road and the railway line! You can always hire a cart to help with it all - then you're free to enjoy the views of the Ruahine Ranges and surrounding countryside.

If you are visiting Dannevirke, you are most welcome to come out for a game of golf. Visitors will have course access on most days - just check the details on the Green Fees page. Don't worry if you don't have a set of clubs, the Club Shop has sets available for hire. You can also stay in our cute little camp site, so you don't have to rush off after your round.

If you're looking for a place to host a function, our club house is a fantastic venue and is licensed to host 180 people. Contact us to discuss how we can help make your party a great occasion.

Great toilets and showers though the whole place could use a bit of a spruce up. We stayed a night in our motorhome and paid $5 each to plug into power and enjoy the lovely hot showers. Great value!
A lovely quiet place to park the caravan. Cheap as chips too.
Brilliant......how good for ten dollars. Power - Fresh Water - Loos and.....a real treat a hot shower!!!! Cute little area to pull up but not suitable for big rigs.

Played 3 rounds over 5 days, enjoyed every minute. Learnt to play here as a junior and Last played here 20 years ago and its still a challenging course. Very nice and welcoming people here Thank you
What a hidden gem. We arrived on a week day, with only a few friendly, helpful locals on the cause. A beautiful cause, manicured to perfection. To the club, you must be proud of you green staff. And all for $30/round! We will be back!!
Good place to park over $10 per night with showers and toilets and power,relax or play golf
Explained to me as containing "the hardest hole in golf" and being an "11/10", Dannevirke Golf club did not disappoint. A 18 hole Gem found in the heart of Manawatu, this course will challenge golfers of all levels. Highly recommend stopping in whenever you get the chance. Has wreaked handicaps of Kiwis from all over NZ.
Worth a stop as a very pleasant 18 holes of undulating golf. Enough going on to keep most golfers interested with mature trees of many types, doglegs and slopes. Camping available and very friendly membership all at very welcoming price.
