Nice little park with fun playground, public toilets and lots of picnic tables. Great for a stop while on the road.
Nice place to stop for a picnic. The Deer enclosure was a bit run down and could do with a makeover, though.
We really enjoyed exploring the domain. My eldest loved being able to run and climb and my youngest loved being able to explore the park at his own pace
Cool viking themed playground just off State Highway Two in Dannevirke. Ideal for a break for the kids to have a play and stretch their legs. There is a free gas barbeque for public use and picnic tables. There are a couple of toilets too. Wander the rose gardens as well as over to the war memorial and water fountain. A good place to check out.
No Dogs allowed. Should say that upfront!!!! If we didn't have a dog, we would have gone to a cafe.
