Dannevirke Domain is a cricket ground in Dannevirke, Hawke's Bay, New Zealand. The first recorded match held on the ground came in December 1936 when Hawke's Bay played Southern Hawke's Bay. The ground later held a single List A match in the 1992/93 Shell Cup when Central Districts played Otago, which resulted in a 6 wicket victory for Otago by 16 runs.

First visit here, went to the Lower Domain, what a bewdy spot.
What a lovely little park tucked below the domain.
Cool viking themed playground just off State Highway Two in Dannevirke. Ideal for a break for the kids to have a play and stretch their legs. There is a free gas barbeque for public use and picnic tables. There are a couple of toilets too. Wander the rose gardens as well as over to the war memorial and water fountain. A good place to check out.
Lots of room to stretch your legs, the park.is well maintained with a children's activity area.
Clean toilets. Well maintained facilities. Popular place by the looks of it. Highly recommended.

Had an amazing bbq in the park. Facilities were clean and in good working order. The were heaps of happy families spending time on the play equipment. Plenty of room to be separate and, yet in the same space together. Lovely, big trees for shade. Gardens are well kept. Play equipment well maintained. If I could make one recommendation: maybe a kitchen brush could be tied to the bbq for easily cleaning, especially if you forgot to bring some. Ka pai nui!
Nice private sunny camping ground near bottom on left we didnt stay here, deer to view, plenty of picnic spots, ducks and a bird aviary. Grass areas and some short walking tracks make this ideal for the kids.
