Dance West as a ballet school with new purpose built studios. Follows the RAD syllabus for ballet and NZAMD contemporary syllabus.
Children as young as three years old have the ability to learn at their own pace by way of a new and innovative programme by the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD).
Children are then encouraged to progress from this stage to the various levels where there is an opportunity to sit exams as arranged by RAD. There is also opportunity for children who have made significant progress to attend private lessons and participate in competition stage work.
Classes are run out of the purpose built Dance West studios on Keeling Road, Henderson. The studio is equipt with barres, mirrors and professional dance flooring.
We now also offer NZAMD Contemporary and have classes with Royal New Zealand Ballet Company members
