Dalzell Texel stud is run on a 1600 hectare hill country property in Albury south Canterbury
Dalzell is a 1600 hectare hill country property running 200 cows and 1500 ewes including 350 stud Texel's which are run as one mob on the hills for 10 months of the year. Stud ewes are lambed on hill at an altitude ranging from 600-1000 metres above sea level totally unshepherded and are only bought down for tagging and weaning.
