We dined here for the first time tonight and it exceeded our expectations, immensely. We had seen one negative review which gave us a question mark but decided to try anyway the response seemed pretty fair! The service was impeccable, they were very accommodating to our preferences, allergies and intolerances and talked us through the 'how spicy' idea in that, everyone's palate and tolerance is different and were also very friendly in general. The music and ambience was lovely, and most importantly the food was outstanding. The starters, Hariyali Chicken Kebab, Onion Bhajis, were amazing, and the curries, the Chicken Madras and Lamb Do Pyaza, were next level! Paired with his Kingfisher Beer on the menu and my BYO Waipara Springs Sav Blanc, we had a wonderful date night! THANK YOU! Highly recommended! This is our regular local Indian takeaway go-to here in Amberley. We have always received very consistent and positive service from the team here. Their food has always been hot, fresh and is very tasty!! Their online ordering system via their website is also very easy to use. Well done team and keep up the good work. Would recommend for a good takeaway meal!
Fabulous service, with a smile and such kindness. Arrived with minutes to spare before the restaurant closed at 9pm. We'd been up since 6 am and had been travelling all day - a real adventure. Three adults and a baby. Three delicious curries and naan breads, prepared so beautifully. Delicious. Nothing was too much trouble. So appreciated. Bless you and your business.
Best Indian food I’ve had in ages !!!! What a gem. Was surprised to find authentic and Delicious Indian food in a rural town. Will be back for sure. Everything we tried was super good, decor is cool and it’s served on fun Indian dishes. Great experience.
Food was delicious! Especially the onion bhaji and naan bread big portion sizes we couldn't even finish it, leftovers for tomorrow yum! great atmosphere inside too. Will definitely be back thank you Preeti and Manish

Good quantities and tasty good. Beverage menu is a bit limited but the food makes up for it
Sooooooo disappointing took my whole family there for a birthday dinner. I ordered the fish curry in Coconut cream, I received the wrong fish order, which I accepted, didn't want to cause a fuss, but only to find that the fish was off, it even smelt off. And as for the rest of the food. No no no. Although my daughter in law did enjoy her lamb curry. We paid the bill and left. We live local and do like to support the local businesses, but we will never go back there again. Even the premises outside are a complete shambles/over grown mess. Not good enough guys, please do better.
Had the mixed non veg starter for two , eight pieces of stringy chicken covered with a marinade that tasted like ....chicken .No flavor. Main course was OK. But rice didn't arrive until we were halfway through meal and then I had to chase it
The Very Best Lamb Bhuna I have ever had... it it was amazing, reminds me of a very special restaurant I used to drive 50 miles to go to in the Uk but this one was better!! and only 3 miles away!! Friendly service, Great atmosphere... My partner isn't a big fan of Indian Food, but she really enjoyed the meal and said we will have to go AGAIN!! That's a first for her to say that about Indian food We will be back!! Auesome!! W
