The motel didn’t look like much from the outside but it was nice. The bed was comfortable in a separate room to the kitchen/ living space. Plenty of hot water and a short walk to the pub for dinner.
We stayed here on Monday the 13th May. The price was fine, the welcome pleasant and the units scrupulously clean and well stocked with the usual amenities. We were impressed with the warm bedding in particular as it was a very cold night.
We appreciated our stay. This was a clean, affordable motel. The hosts were friendly and helpful. A little noisy during the week because of the the truck traffic on SH1. The mattresses were firm and take a little bit of getting used to but otherwise we were very pleased with our stay.
I was greeted in a friendly but professional way on arrival and that counts for a lot for me. The unit was extremely clean and had everything I needed for a one-night stay. I can see you could stay for longer, and with a cooking hob but no oven it would be possible to cook a meal during a stay. The bed was super comfortable and very warm. The heater was very effective and heated the unit in no time. The owner dropped by a short time after I arrived to see that everything was okay which is was. I felt that was a nice, caring touch. The unit wasn't the Hilton i.e. lavish/extravagant but it was an excellent basic, comfortable unit that I felt very at home in. 5-stars plus experience for me. Highly recommended.
A lovely motel. The hosts were very thoughtful. We arrived late and they put the heater on so we arrived to a warm room. We also had fresh baked muffins waiting for us.nThe room was very comfortable and clean. We would definitely stay there again. Thanks.
