Crum Park
"Large park with a series of walking tracks through the bush and established trees. The park offers a range of recreation and sporting opportunities including a caged astro-turfed sports pitch, tennis courts, two playgrounds, sports fields, toilets and changing rooms, parking, picnic tables and seating, and drinking fountains. The name of this park, Tahurangi, acknowledges the first inhabitants prior to human settlement. Tahurangi were mysterious, magical creatures who lived in the deep forests and the high mountain tops."

2 tennis courts, 1 basketball court, soccer fields, both turf and grass. There is also a children's playground. The lights aren't on in the evenings yet and the gates close at 9pm. The court surface is really great. The park itself is surrounded by native trees on one side making it quite pleasant.
Artificial turf is fine. As a spectator, there is insufficient parking and no supporter seating whatsoever. Plenty of tree shade from the sun surrounding the main turf.
Beautiful park, nestled in the foothills of the Waitakere’s and very pretty at this time of year. There’s quite a few fields and a playground. The only fly in the ointment is the horrendous parking. But that’s no different to any other sporting ground in NZ.
Amazing local park, ...
Great facilities. Soccer fields. Tennis courts. Playground. Walking paths.
Great area for basketball, tennis and soccer
Amazing sporting facilities that we only just discovered. Football fields, tennis courts, basketball courts and more. Really well maintained and lots of club sports seem to operate from here for training etc
. 10/2018 This beautiful park is located in Titirangi and can be easily spotted on the roadside from a moving vehicle in normal traffic. Easily accessible with entrances from different roads in different directions. The park is clearly divided into different sections including multiple playgrounds, some specific for sports like tennis and basketball while others for sports like football / rugby etc. This park is dog friendly. The views around this park are amazing. There are multiple walkways around this park. The tracks are well maintained. Seating and benches are provided at regular distances for taking rest and enjoying the views. A good place to enjoy on a sunny or clear day. Good for groups, kids, families, meditation and quick visits. Easily approachable from different roads. Spacious parking areas are provided. Ample parking space is available. Wheelchair parking is available and there are wheelchair accessible entrances. Public restrooms are available at this park mostly near the parking spots. Enjoyed visiting this park as well as playgrounds.
This used to be nice but it's really not so much a park now as much as a bunch of sports fields. And when sports games are taking place it's a nightmare outside the park and in the surrounding streets since nobody wants to walk more than a few steps. If I was attending the park as a sports person I would have given it more stars since the fields look first class, but I used to go there to just enjoy time with the family and walk the dog and it's not really aimed at people like me anymore.
Went to the park to entertain 1 and 2 year old. Pretty basic slide, swings and seesaw set-up but it was fun for the fifteen minutes we spent here although it required a bit of assistance getting the kids up the ladders. A lot of people ignored the huge signs indicating no dogs on fields and playground, but they were friendly enough.
