My husband and I had a wonderful short 2-nights at Crow's Nest Apartments. We booked last minute due to a change of plans and Kylie was so lovely to deal with. The apartments are in a fantastic location. Was advised via sms prior to check in time that apartment was ready and we even received an upgrade. Highly recommended.Rooms: 5/5
Fabulous views of Mercury Bay and the boats in the river from this great location. Our unit is lovely, with Sky TV, lovely full kitchen and views from the bedroom, lounge and balcony.Rooms: 5/5
Great location and roomy apartment 9 which was let down by extremely small bathroom area. Noise from people walking in apartment Above Manager could not locate my left behind items 4 which were left in kitchen cupboard which I called about on the afternoon that we left the apartment. Great apartment complex with parking on site and close to some food shops and restaurants. Would stay here again anytime. The price was also very fair when we stayed there mid of Feb.Rooms: 5/5
We rented a 2 bed/2 bath with water view. The room and building are extremely clean and well cared for. The room was shown as in the photos online. All communication with the owner was easy and pleasant. Unfortunately, we were there during the cyclone last month so we had to leave early. We are hoping to return to New Zealand and if we do, we will definitely stay at the Crow's Nest.
stayed at Crowsnest Apartments 2 nights recently, and while my experience was fine overall, there were a couple drawbacks, no tissue provided in the unit, which was a bit inconvenient. Also, the walls were surprisingly thin, to the point where I could clearly hear people in the next unit brushing their teeth. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and accommodating, and the apartment itself was clean and comfortable. The location was also convenient with easy access. I would suggest searching for a cheaper place, or staying here only if you want bringing your own tissues and earplugs.
Stayed for a couple of nights and booked in for one more as it was such a comfortable stay. We were ready to move in. Friendly reception at check in. It is a self service apartment so clean up on your own, nice vacuum if needed. There is a heat pump and oil heater for the bedroom that kept the apartment nice and warm for our winter stay. There is dish washing soap but only two small packages enough for a load of dish washer detergent but can buy more at office same for laundry. There were a few minor maintenance issues but nothing that distracted from the pleasure of a home away from home feel of the Crow’s Nest. Huge closest to put away your stuff and bags. I was a bit concerned about reviews on the large double bed but it was quite comfy for us bed snobs. I am used to a queen but the large double bed made for some good night sleeps. The shower was hot and powerful with nice towels. We had a nice balcony with a water view. We look forward to our next stay.
This was our 2nd visit to Crowsnest Apartments. The couple who run the place are just delightful and very helpful. The rooms are clean, pretty and just perfect. The 1st time we went, we were 4 ladies, the second time we were 3 couples. Apartments were well maintained and perfect for our needs. I would highly recommend the apartments for a getaway. Rooms: Beautifully maintained and looked after. Good sizes too. Food & drinks: Loads of restaurants in the area to choose from. Within walking distance

Spacious, clean, comfortable bed, kitchen mostly really well equipped. It didn't matter that the coffee plunger had been melted as there was only instant coffee provided. A little surprised that not once in the 3-night stay did housekeeping visit to ask about towels/toilet paper/etc.Rooms: 5/5
