The motel was very comfortable and clean. All the staff were very helpful. We were travelling around the area when our van was damaged. The motels owners could not do enough for us. This included a flexible booking out date, depending on the date the van was fixed, during the busy Easter period.nGreat location near the heritage town.nHighly recommend.
I want to thank Cromwell Motel for yesterday. 5th August 2026. I was absolutely distraught, after my homes pipes had burst. I walked in to their office after 4.00pm, and got welcomed in straight away.. I am forever grateful for a last minute room. Even though we live in Cromwell, my daughter has since asked if we can go back! And yes, we will for sure be back! Thank you thank you and thank you You don't know how much I appreciated your accommodation at such late notice.
It is what it is. Budget accommodation in a pricey region. Uncomfortable bed, dated interior, and very small. However it was spotlessly clean. Lovely friendly host!
“After a 13-hour drive from Picton to Cromwell, I arrived at the Cromwell Motel, and the room was awful—dirty, rotten, and disgusting. I couldn’t believe it. I left the room without even telling them, just dropped the key in the box, and went elsewhere. I wouldn’t let my dog sleep there—terrible experience.”nnRoom 12A
The service was great. The problem was the room we had was not like the other rooms that were there,it was tired room stuck out the back that was mostly clean apart from black hair in the bathroom.The shower was terrible felt like you were going to fall through the floor and was either burning hot or stone cold.
