Story

Established in 2012 Cressy Lane is a small family owned & operated business based in North Canterbury, New Zealand.

We design, make and install the items that take your event to the next level. Designing objects that don’t exist & creating the details you need to make your event truly bespoke is were our passion truly lies.

Our creative family team has a passion for designing and creating amazing styling pieces - from calligraphy signs, lighting, archways, floral installations, mural bridal backdrops, table linen and much more - We create it all to make sure each wedding is one of a kind!

We provide packages to suit clients who require little help all the way through to clients who would love the complete styling package.

We had an absolutely brilliant night at Lane7. The place was buzzing with a great atmosphere. The Rugby was being shown on the huge screen. So much to do, such as Bowling, Shuffleboard, Darts, Hoops, BeerPong and arcades. Obviously a place like this gets very busy so if you want to get a bowling lane then it’s best to book
Great venue for bowling and pool, lots of other activities and I thought it was good value. The online booking team were helpful. Unfortunately they were not serving food that day. Service could be improved, maybe a bit more enthusiasm shown amongst the staff! Especially if it’s someone’s first visit, just a bit of info about the processes/where everything is.
Check with your bank manager before buying a soft drink, because you'll be in for a shock....it's over £4 for a lemonade that's FOUR!!! and 75p for each small dash of blackcurrant!!! You'll also have to wait over 3 hours just to place a food order....and then find out that they've been taking other people's orders the whole time, and your burger/chicken will arrive around breakfast time the following morning. If you like bowling, pool, darts, beer pong... then you might be distracted long enough to forget your rumbling stomach or the gapping big hole in your wallet. If you are interested to understand why non-drinkers and designated drivers are being penalised with large margins, on things that cost them pennies to make, then you'll get a shrug of the shoulders from staff, followed by the 'not my fault, its jead office' type response
Love coming to this place! Always a fun experience! We went bowling then a hour on the pool table. Then got some food from Fat hippo which was so delicious! They had a special cocktail to celebrate Christmas and a clearly brilliant Christmas movie but they did run out of the foam but didn’t disappoint. Definitely recommend going with other activities like air hockey, beer pong and so many more.
Such a great place to go. Lots of different activities and a great atmosphere. Food was really nice when it arrived. Played 10 pin bowling, pool and darts in our time there.
We went to Lane 7 as a group of 4 for a game of Bowling. The staff were friendly and managed to squeeze us in. The bowling ally was very clean and well kept. We had a great game and would definitely make another visit in future. There were also other activities on offer such as axe throwing which looked great fun. Along with a good bar, Lane 7 would make for an excellent venue for a night out with mates or pre drinks before moving on to Pryzm around the corner.
this place is seriously bad vibes. it took over 40 minutes for a 2 drink order to be fulfilled - the staff here are clearly 18 year olds in their first job with zero training. felt bad for the manager but genuinely felt like i was talking in a different language to the team. i stood at the bar for ages whilst the staff chatted amongst themselves, the staff were rude and unhelpful - despite it being a wednesday and totally dead. finished my 1 bowling game before i could even get a single drink and paid through the nose for it when it eventually came. will not be back.
Seven lanes are far too few for any serious bowling alley. If you want serious custom, then you must consider expanding your operations. If you need any pointers, then please contact Oliver House on 01010101010177 Let this be a lesson. Regards, Glorious Alfred
Amazing experience today!! Really lovely place my disabled service user only had cash to pay and they only take card. Mason who greeted us managed to persuade his manager to let us play for free my service user really enjoyed himself and I can't recommend this place enough!!! Lovely lovely lovely place well done Mason and everyone working lane7
Always feel rushed... Maybe should take a few less bookings so you can actually enjoy your game. Happens almost everytime I go that we only have so long left to finish or the game will be cancelled before we finish. When there's a big group of you it not going to take 20 minutes to do a game. Other than that it's good.
