This gorgeous wee cafe is a must on a roadie - excellent coffee and best tasty breakfast. This cutie is just off state highway 1 and has a totally different vibe to the shopping side of town. If you want the best of kiwi hospitality - here’s your home away from home. Chef checked I enjoyed it and was chuffed when I told her how brilliant it was - gorgeous!
Stopped here for breakfast. Good food and coffee options. Friendly staff. Lots of getting to know one another and visit with other customers since this is a smaller, but popular eating spot in the area.
AMAZING cafe! One of the best meals I had travelling through New Zealand. I had the maple roast tomatoes with ricotta on sourdough for breakfast. It was so good I came back for lunch on the same day for a delicious mushroom filo pastry with horseradish cream and a slice of their ginger loaf - delicious! The staff were also so friendly.
Small and nice cafe. The food that we ordered was tasty. Four stars just because we felt it was expensive. The medium sized hot drink was a ‘small’ size compared to hot drinks that we order in Auckland.

Great find. Cafe with a great atmosphere and happy staff. Nestled behind the fishing shop, it was a nice surprise to go to and enjoy morning tea there. Popular place with locals. Worth the stop if passing through Turangi.
Enjoyed the breakfast here thou it was slightly pricey - but it is a family run shop and the owner is really friendly with the locals. Hubby liked his coffee as well

This place never disappoints: a delicious and generous salmon bagel and a slice of the ‘best ginger loaf in the world’. Lovely staff, and a special mention for a good pot of tea; so hard to find these days! A lot of cafes fail badly here. Thank you and we are looking forward to our next visit.
Stopped here on a whim for coffee and breakfast. By far the best coffee we've had as two Melbournites visiting gorgeous NZ! Staff were friendly. We ordered a vege fritatta and chicken and leek pie, both were full of flavour. Highly recommend!Food: 5/5
