This is a hidden gem ! We stayed here for a weekend and it was fantastic. The food was amazing , well prices and generous portions . The accommodation was very nice ,super clean and new, big bed with fresh white sheets and tons of warm blankets , the weather was cold but our room was super warm. The bar staff are very friendly and the drinks were great prices . Big TVs for the Rugby . We would highly recommend stopping in here for dinner and drinks or for a night away.
What an amazing place! A large group of us stayed the night, had dinner and breakfast the next morning. Fabulous food, great, friendly staff, lovely clean modern room. Staff went out of their way to go above and beyond what we expected. Will certainly be going back there again. Fantastic!!!
We called into the Crate and Barrel at Leeston on the way home and I tell you what it's an awesome place. The memorabilia through out is something else and the food is certainly something to go back for. A huge shout out to the staff who where very confident, efficient and very happy in their work making it a pleasure to be in this brilliant pub.
Went for lunch in the sun sat outside and not umbrella worked changed to a few tables $28 for a thai beef salad that took an hour to come out which consisted of lettuce leaves raw beef strips and sweet chili sauce and it sat under the heat lamps so the lettuce was boiled. But great waitress amazing place. Would I travel out there on a Monday with six people in the place for lunch I say no. Sort your chef out
Went with a group of us to celebrate a birthday dinner. Think I can say for most of us the meal was excellent. Good atmosphere Wouldn’t hesitate in going back again.
