Story

Established in 1984, Crane & Cartage is a family owned and operated business with almost 30 years experience in the business. We specialise in moving loads that other people aren’t interested in doing and with an operating fleet of 9 trucks, no job is too big or small.

With a lifting capacity of 10 tonnes and a reach of up to 20 metres our vehicles are equipped to move over dimension loads such as yacht booms, garages, portacoms, trees etc. We have a fleet of specialised vehicles to tackle all kinds of jobs safely and effectively.

Our fleet includes Low Loaders for the overheight loads, Semi Trailers with Air Bag suspension for the fragile loads i.e. Neon Signage and a Trombone Trailer which extends in length to cater for over dimensional loads of all shapes and sizes. Our Curtain Siders with their Tail-Lift are excellent for Palletised work or ideal for Nursery work for shifting plants around.

We are experienced in factory shifts and can offer a turn-key operation by working in with an Engineering Company that decommissions and commissions factory plants. Much of our work is time sensitive to fit in with opening days for Fuel Stations, Shows, Sub divisions or to get the job done outside peak traffic times.
