Faultless service. Goods were despatched promptly next day, arrived well packaged and delivered within 3 days would have been 2 but PO strikes affected. One of the items was the cheapest I could find! Would highly recommend and would definitely use them again.
Recently bought a squirrel house from these guys. Fantastic product and arrived super quickly and as described. My GF loves it, as do the squirrels. Unfortunately the door fell off and broke probably didn’t install it properly. Regardless of this I spoke to the customer service team who were very responsive and had a new door shipped out to me within 48 hours. Some of the best service I have had for a long time. Local, family run, super friendly and they know their stuff. They appear to be having a swap around so they can offer classes and workshops again. Absolute gem of a small business.
I wasn't going to bother reviewing them as they didn't even bother to fulfil my orer but as I received an email invitation to leave a review and share my experience, here goes..... Sadly i can't echo the positive reviews of others as my experience with crafty arts was a total disappointment. I received an email notification to say that the product I wanted was in stock, so went ahead and placed my order. It wasn't until a day later that they got in touch with me to tell me they actually didn't have the item in stock after all. That was frustrating enough but to make matters worse they asked if there was a different product I would like instead, so I asked them what alternatives they have around the same sort of price..... To which they reply they don't actually have any alternatives. When I highlighted the fact that I had received an "in stock" email, and that the item was also clearly showing as in stock at the time of ordering, they came back with a rather lame excuse about lots of people ordering it at once.... Having a background it ecommerce I can only say that this was either a poor excuse to try and cover up their own mistake, or they are operating a very primitive and atiquated system. All in all a frustrating and disappointing experience.
Absolutely revolted by the service I have received. I called to discuss an order I wanted to place and was met with the sounds of what I can only describe as a dog attacking their dinner bowl just to be clear, this was due to a member of staff loudly scoffing down their lunch - not a telephone issue. It was disgusting, unprofessional and just outright wrong! I’m not normally one to leave reviews but after this experience, I couldn’t not!
I purchased polymer clay from Crafty Arts LTD, of which they have an extensive selection and have separated out the soft clay from the professional, and clearly note which are the ‘effects’ clays. The items came very quick, and were packaged great; I can even use the box to store the clays and accessories. I would urge anyone reading this review to support independent arts and crafts businesses like Crafty Arts. Thanks for the great products, I will definitely be making future purchases.
My daughter and I visited Crafty Arts today, needing some advice on paper required for a GCSE Art project. Ellie gave us excellent advice, we will definitely be back.
Excellent products at reasonable prices. If you order from them just need to have a bit of patience considering the current circumstances. From start to finish had no problems with my order and service was fantastic.
Terrible company. Placed an order for over £900 and received an e-mail that the order had been despatched for next day delivery. Chased it up with them twice when the order did not arrive but no reply what so ever. I then logged into my account which was showing that the order had not been despatched. E-mailed twice again to say that I wanted a full refund otherwise I would take further action and finally got a reply to acknowledge this. No apology for lying about the goods being despatched when they hadn't. Beware that you may place an order but not receive it. The only plus is that my refund did actually come through.
