Great local gastropod with excellent regular specials. Went twice in the week we were in town. Very excited to see the Lasagna on their menu was GF gluten free - and it tasted good!! Went back for the Friday special of $10 pizzas - amazing value! Gluten free pizza base extra $4, their usual bases looked and tasted amazing!
Such a cool spot! We visited with a large group of around 25 people for lunch, and I was genuinely impressed by how quickly the food came out—especially considering the size of our group. Even more impressive was that the quality didn't skip a beat. Every meal was absolutely delicious!nnWe all left feeling very full and very satisfied.nnThe venue itself is fantastic, with a great outdoor area at the back that's perfect for relaxing year-round, whether it's summer or winter. We had such a fantastic experience at Crafthaus in Whangamatā! Phil and his team truly go above and beyond to make their customers feel special.nnMy son is a huge Harry Potter fan, and Phil surprised him by bringing along his own Harry Potter collection to the restaurant just so he could share it with him. Seeing the excitement and joy on my son’s face was priceless, and it’s the kind of genuine kindness you don’t come across every day.nnOn top of the incredible hospitality, the food was outstanding. The homemade pizzas are absolutely delicious, fresh, full of flavour, and clearly made with care.nnA huge thank you to Phil and the whole Crafthaus team for creating such a memorable experience for our family.nnHighly recommended!
Such a delicious stop on our trip! The staff were so kind and funny. My partner joked about his deep desire for a mountain of ice cream and a staff member came out with this spectacular sundae as a surprise! She then proceeded to give me the big spoon and him the little spoon… Totally made our night : Highly recommended this lovely, cozy, and tasty spot!
Loved it. Prawns bucket & the Mussel bowl were a great choice with very quick service. Staff took time to pet our little dog and turn on the outside heater. Good selection of tap beers. Will visit again.nCheers.
