Went in with no high expectations for an early dinner with our 2.5yearold. The service was casual but warm and inviting. And the food was well priced and delicious! Not over flavoured, cooked perfectly and fresh. Definitely going to make this a regular Family Date Night place! Sad that there's luke warm reviews, ignore them and treat yourself to a good feed!
Love the food here, great specials too. Previously 4 star rating due to customer service but with the new management I'm going 5 stars! That's for great food, staff, atmosphere and deals. Great place for date night, family or friend events too.
A good selection of food both from cabinet and menu. Busy place but didn't have to wait too long. Prices reasonable. Food is very good. Service was fast and efficient. They're pretty busy, so don't have time to be chatty - but are all smiling and welcoming. I will 100% be back - thank you so much!!!!!!
Went to have brunch there this morning with 6 people took ages to get our drinks we got 3 orders of the cjs big breakfast 2 orders of pancakes and 1 eggs benny the first cjs breaky came out the sausages were frozen the pancakes then came out with no maple syrup we told the server the sausages were frozen but still brought out the other 2 out frozen the bacon was also stone cold and there was hair cooked into the chips the eggs benny never came we took the food back but then decided to just leave the only other family in the restaurant then also decided to leave after just ordering there food. I would recommend never going near this place let alone stepping inside we waited 45 minutes for this horrible food the waiter had no idea what was going on was beyond slow and obviously the food was disgusting
Worst dinner out ever! It was only 7pm & the restaurant only 1/4 full but apparently they were out of chicken, so my friend ordered a steak instead. They forgot our entrees & after reminding the waitress several times, they arrived just before the mains. We ordered 1 x lambshank & 5 x steaks. The lambshanks were fine but every steak was undercooked, every sauce was wrong & the sides that were ordered were given to the wrong people. My friend who is pregnant ordered a well done steak & it was pink, raw & bleeding! We sent them all back only to have them returned in the same state! But this time the chips were overcooked & the salad wasn't dressed either. We had to explain the difference between well done, medium & rare steak to the waitress because she didn't know why we weren't eating our steaks! By now we had been there for 2.5 hours & we weren't didn't have time to stick around to send all of our steaks back for the 2nd time. We had no choice but to leave, now starving, with our steaks left on the table, inedible. I chose this restaurant to try out 2nyt & so was embarrassed about the service my friends received, that I went to settle the bill. Surprisingly the only compensation offered was 1 x free steak, so we were expected to pay for the other 4 x steaks that weren't eaten AND the chicken that never arrived as they had run out of that dish! Not only were 5 out of our 6 orders wrong BUT they then tried to charge us for food we couldn't eat & food that they had run out of! It was now late & we were all starving, so the only choice left was mcds drive thru in the way home. Let's say, if we want to dine out in future, it would be safer to go to mcds than back to cowboy jacks. P.S: We don't think Cowboy Jack lives there & if he does, it's pretty obvious that he doesn't know JACK about how to cook steak! Avoid like the plague!
No doubt has best BBQ ribs around the place, also the steaks used are silver firn and cooked gold specialy the mushroom and pepper sauce they have is amazing. Surely The place needs some work were decor is concernd but definitely a good place to go..
I’d only recommend this place for Breakfast/Brunch and Lunch Not for dinner though like we did this time Service okay. We waiting a very long time to receive our meals and there was only two tables taken in the whole restaurant The meals were okay. Beef and chicken were dry and could have been more tasty. Also overpriced in our opinion The music was very very bad & made a atmosphere a tad depressing/stale..Would have appreciated more country style music to make atmosphere more upbeat and sticking to the cowboy theme!
An OK place, the meat is a bit dry and can be tough. However the staff are friendly and inviting which creates a good atmosphere
Its ok the food is average to be honest i would not reccumend this place again my food came out cold and tasted very dry the two times i went there
Good steaks at reasonable prices. Indoor and covered open air dining and bar. Western Cowboy atmosphere.
