Tucked away in beautiful Portabello we find this extraordinarily good cafe so had breakfast here twice. Highly recommend and most importantly the coffee was excellent. Look at that date scone! Crammed with dates. My breakfast was the vegaterian
Great spot to park up for a coffee and scone. Seriously, this scone is pretty good! Give it a try. My nana loves the small breakfast they offer here
Loved everything about this place! We came back multiple times.nnExcellent coffee, delicious breakfast including good vegetarian options, and the date scone was to die for! We didn’t try them but the sandwiches looked really really good as well.nOur 2-year old loved the little play nook, the people were exceptionally friendly and the views amazing.nPlenty of parking nearby so really no reason not to go!
I have wanted to try this cafe since it reopened and I was not disappointed. The food was fresh and cooked to order. Whilst the menu is small it offers a decent variety of options. I had the Rosti and the potatoes were seasoned perfectly and it was not dripping with grease like other places.nnThe staff are lovely and you can’t beat the view on a good day. I will definitely be returning next time I’m in Dunedin.
Great Breakfast, Brunch or Lunch stop. with nice views. Spaced out seating with a good simple menu featuring enough to appeal to most tastes.nFriendly staff and good banter minus the loud gossip session that was happening during our visit.
