Country Creche

Story

Country Creche is an independent, privately owned and operated childcare centre.

We are located in the beautiful Matangi area which is between Hamilton and Cambridge - roughly a 7 minute drive to both. Our centre has lovely mature trees and gardens as well as fruit trees which the children harvest and eat for morning and afternoon teas. We have rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, quails, budgies, parrots as well as neighboring cows and horses, We have plenty of space for all age groups to run around and explore with all senses.

Our teaching team is passionate about getting to know our families. A lot of the team have been at Country Creche for over 10 years which has allowed us to watch families grow until they leave the centre (we love it when they come back and visit). We credit this to the amazing environment that we get to work in with our tamariki.

Our children strengths and interests are part of planning where we not only look at supporting group interests but individual children also. Your child will be given a "Profile book" that will document their learning at Country Creche. This will have photos, art and observations about your individual child.

We strongly believe that children learn best through play. Our centre is free play but we make sure that we are offering children activities and resources that help build and extend their learning and we love this quote by Albert Einstein...
