My closest super market. Great staff and service easy access good prices and mostly good availability of stock. Downfall the seafood bar ..... No good fresh fish selection more prepackaged. The fish fillets are not fresh fresh! Prices have not come down fair to say if the fish or seafood is fresh fresh like it used to be It would justify the price.
Very very good! Lovely Staff. Only thing we weren't happy about was ...You aren't supplied ANY bags for your loose fruit or vegetables. If you want some, then you'd need to pay $1.70 for a re usable pack.
It's convenient and clean. Obviously there's a challenge today to get fresh produce in, and I appreciate the efforts of supply in these times. I feel that staff at the self checkout, could be a little more pleasant and the staff on the floor happy to assist when approached. I asked where an item was and was told that it was probably at ilse... of they had stock! I could have derived at that myself. I hate negative reviews, but sometimes I feel that these are the things that can make a shopping difference.
One of the beat grocery stores in the Bethlehem area.... quite a good selection of shelf food, the fresh veggies and meats could use a bit of bolstering up but still quite adequate.
One of the worst experiences in a supermarket. Problem being 2 eftpos machines not working properly when PIN numbers were inserted. One machine declined 2 cards and locked us out. Tried another eftpos and the same thing happened. Attendant said we were putting in wrong pin number, but couldn't accept the fact there was a problem with both machines. Multiple numbers were popping up with one number. When attendant resalised the problem we were told "customers hit the numbers too hard" No apology offered. Eftpos machines on express lane need servicing and staff attitude could improve drastically. Won't shop there again.
Prices are disgustingly high, $5.50 for half a cabbage?! What… would a whole cabbage equal to $11? Terrible! One brown paper bag of goods mostly vegetables, cabbage, kale ect cost me $80. It’s horrible!

Lot better than local Omokoroa Freshchoice in a variety of foods Still, it is missing a variety of foods I see elsewhere .
A large modern supermarket much like the layout of countdowns in Tauranga and Papamoa.As usual products in the frozen chicken areas are missing.There is are large selection of attractively laid out fruit and veges.Theres a few empty shelves but overeall a great shopping experience. Staff are friendly and helpful.I will go again.
A BIG THANK YOU TO DEHLIA FROM THE OFFICE AT COUNTDOWN BETHLEHEM. i HAD TO RING AND GET A COPY OF MY SHOPPING RECEIPT EARLY THIS MORNING AND IT WAS NOT A BOTHER TO HER. SHE WAS SO HELPFUL AND AS I COULDNT GET TO THEIR STORE TODAY SHE EMAILED IT THROUGH TO ME. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
