Always shop here but lately it has been very disappointing as shelves bare with a lot of items. No Eggs, Toilet paper, Beetroot. Ended up going to new world and their shelves fully stocked with these products. Can't blame it on supplier issue. Obviously grocery manager not doing their job and ordering required stock.
I applied for a job here, just to stack the shelves at night. They said based on their criteria I don’t meet their requirements. Really?! What requirements are needed to stack shelves at night! Won’t be shopping here again. Staff are so rude and give me ugly looks when I go there. We all know what that means when people give you ugly looks and won’t stop starring! Worse countdown ever. Don’t even want to give them 1 star. Would rate them -100.
I been shopping at Countdown since I moved to Feilding 20 years ago. It was originally Woolworths. I made my shopping days at Countdown in Feilding the last day today. They are always under stocked and the staff are rude. It use to be nice here, the old staff use to be a friendly bunch. I politely asked a staff member this morning if they were going to get anymore Purina cat biscuits as it’s been about 3 months since I saw any. All I got back was “I don’t stock the shelves so I don’t know”. And she walked off. That was the last straw. I’m shopping at New World Feilding permanently now. They have fresher fruit and veggies and always have what I need, and the staff are always smiling and friendly.
Countdown Feilding, l found this Supermarkets car park quiet pokey, a awkward place for parking. Inside, there always seems alot of products missing off the shelves, the times l have been there. Another problem is the staff go around with these great big trolleys getting the groceries for customers, taking up the aisles making it hard to get around the supermarket with your own trolley,. The staff seem bright and cheerful, prices on par with the other supermarkets, it depends on what you buy That is my opinion. Sorry this countdown does not meet up for me. Thankyou Louise.
Anither great supermarket with options New World doesnt have, usually well stocked with all I want, carpark very difficult if you have a large vehicle campervan, even surrounding road parks can be difficult to find
Pricey when compared to same stores 20 min away, bakery items are lesser, only few kiosk which creates chaos during rush hours Items finishes quicker on Fridays and Saturdays Can increase check-out counters and kiosk Can also focus more on customer service.
Great free fruit for the children, and the checkout operator gave us an extra set of bricks so each child had one.
I'll admit the placement of some of the cold prepackaged meats such as bacon was a bit confusing when I visited Countdown for the first time, but the overall store is really well presented and the staff are always incredibly helpful.
There seems to be a shortage of 4 packs of Toilet Paper here and at New World also missing at both Supermarkets is Bluebird Bacon flavored chippies
Absolutely rubbish service!! The staff just stand around talking about there personal lives rather than focusing on there customers. The staff are just rude and completely unprofessional!!
