Story

I have been building for 12 years.
The first 8 years was spent in Akaroa where I did my apprenticeship, we did a lot of work in this time on historic homes and very large and complex architectural hill builds. After moving to chch in 2009 I carried on building on my own as a sole trader before establishing the company in 2011.
My team consists of 4 qualified carpenters including myself with varying experience and back ground. All of them are both licenced building practitioners and also are gold card holders and individual members of certified builders association of new Zealand. In addition as the director of the company I also hold a platinum card as a business member. I also have 2 experienced hammer hands a labourer and an apprentice.
The benefits of building with someone who is a certified builder are huge.
First being they are trade qualified . There is also many benefits of their contracts, Insurances and to top it off the home first builders guarantee.
I am by no means a big company but that is where I like to make my point of difference. I want to be able to offer people all the advantages of working with a small business and treat them as I would like to be treated if I was in there position. Big company’s make you feel and treat you just as a number that puts money in the bank. You deal with many different people along the way which doesn’t allow you to build those important relationships. I like to personally be involved from start to finish with the project and pride myself on the high standard of work we produce. I treat every project as if it was my own and finish it to a standard that I would have to be happy to live with every day.
