Story

Coronation Restaurant and Cafe is a family friendly restaurant on the edge of Mangere Bridge, in the perfect location just off the Southern Motorway. A variety of meals are available, from Grilled Scotch Fillet and Kumara Chips to rice curries, Greek Salad and pasta. A delicious range is also available on the kids menu, with ice cream in a cone and cool smoothies available for dessert. Hot drinks such as coffee and hot chocolates are on offer, as well as a range of juices, soda drinks, Movenpick Ice Cream, and alcohol, both local and imported. Communication skills needs improving service over 15 to 20 minutes so we eat together not 10 minutes after the first 2 come on. Our first time their because our favourite full. Oh never again.
My own fault for not heeding people's warnings. Not the best of the eateries on the same road. Service is great, staff are lovely but food was disappointing. Didn't get to try anything from desserts cabinet, looked amazing though
Nice that they allow you to order ahead of time. Great that they had the food come out warm at the exact time we needed it short lunch period. The only let down was the flavour unfortunately. Hearty and warm winter meal? Definitely. But needed some more flavour. Will come again to try some other options on their very extensive menu
First experience. My goodness the food was sooooo fresh and great portions. The kumara chips are to die for. Massive compliments to the chef. Service ladies were super friendly. Will definitely be going back. Didnt leave space for desserts. Next time.
This place here was totally untidy, just wasn't clean, the ceiling was a filth... cobwebs and spider's. The glasses our drinks were served in weren't clean either.
Food is cheap. Ordered spring rolls and found they had an off taste to the pork in them. Took all long time to be served. At least 45 minutes. But it is cheap.
Can get busy, but lovely breakfast options. Especially the eggs bene. Would recommend anyone and everyone.
