It's been a while since I've had some really good f&c, and this was great. Maybe it's the small town setting vs the big city, but the fish was fresh and the chips were a generous portion. Also, the wrapping up of the food was well done - kept it tight and tidy. Some places can be a bit shoddy.nThere was a steady stream of customers, which kept the staff busy - but that's a good sign.
I had the today’s special raw fish, and it was really good—fresh and tasty. Preet, the staff member who served me, was so friendly and helpful. Overall, the food and service were great. Would definitely come again!
nStopped by this fish n chips shop in Coromandel and it was awesome! The lamb burger was really good and the portions were generous — proper value for money. Big shoutout to our cook Mr. Preet, such a super friendly guy and made the experience even better. Definitely worth a visit!
We arrived late tonight. The team was closing up. They kindly stayed open and were incredibly hospitable. They gave us tips on where to stay, and gave us an extra piece of fish and salad.nBut the best part the snapper and chips was exceptional. Absolutely delicious. We are a family of three and would likely recommend a clean, delicious meal
Been a regular every summer for years and never been disappointed.nnBut disappointed with our meal recently. Everything was just a bit off. Chicken tenders were burnt, fish was fresh but very oily, chips good but not seasoned, burgers just meh these were the best previously.nnPrices have increased, which is expected but not great when the quality has noticeably declined.
