Went to this pub for drinks as it's close to our accommodation. The staff are nice, food is good
Typical kiwi pub. Nice food, and good prices. The steamed mussels were really good, the sauce they were in was nice a garlicy. I love garlic and mussels so spot on for me. My partner had the ribs had gave the a 4.5 out of 5 and enjoyed them. Pool, pokies, and lovely staff. The sports memorabilia is interesting. The courtyard area is spacious.
Enjoyed our dinner Cobb loaf pork belly & chips. No room for dessert
Food wasn't too bad but ambiance was slightly devalued by a gaggle of loud drunken locals.
My negative post seems to not go up. Monitered ???? As i dont see any other bad comments Means 4.5 * must be from locals 1 of worst meals ever had. Staff attitude worse Youd think theyd look after the tourists and thier money.but no. DONOT RECOMMEND !!!
Great food choice, portions and cocktails! Recommend the toffee pop - dessert and alcohol all in one place.
