We did the feeding trial outside the paddock. Loved the alpacas and llamas, great to see them up close and personal and is a nice 20 minute experience on route if you are travelling downwards from Auckland. We purchased one feed between two people and it was more than enough IMO. Staff was polite, friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately the cafe was a let down for us, we ordered a chicken Caesar wrap with fries to share and it took 35 minutes to arrive and when it did the fries were soggy.
It is pretty cool with a short briefing before going into the farm. The guide teaches the difference between alpaca and lamas. Where are they located, and the difference between wild and domesticated. Inside the feeding area, fed different alpacas, and there are mummy alpacas with their new borns. The cafe is quite good and has lots of food options. Bought some nice souvenirs back.
BEST WEDDING RECEPTION VENUE! We had our wedding reception here last 2nd Dec 2023. Nothing but praises to all the staff from the beginning of planning to our wedding day. Daleen, their events coordinator helped us so much with all our queries, and was very hands-on all through out. The venue was tidy. The guests had a lovely time with the Alpacas. The Kitchen service was superb! All the foods served were very much appreciated by everyone who attended the wedding. Kudos to Bert and the whole kitchen staff for serving a good feast.
Amazing find!!! It's definitely a must go!!! We stumbled across the brochure at the car rental and were so blessed we did! Very inexpensive! We were given a wonderful introduction and warmly greeted by the gentleman with glasses. Gotlieb was an incredibly attentive, respectful, fantastic, Alpaca guide. We are so grateful to Jesus for him. You really need to go!
Absolutely fantastic experience at the alpaca farm! Our kids had a blast feeding the animals, and it's undeniably the best family-friendly spot in the area. Awesome place to chill with some llamas and plenty of alpacas. There is an awesome cafe on site that has happy hour. Brilliant and knowledgeable staff/team to engage with. Happy well kept alpacas and overall a neat experience if you wish to get a guided tour, or travel alone on the feeding trail.

It was amaaaaaaazing!! We bought the tickets in the shop and they gave us Alpaca's food per person then we went to farm and saw so many lovely Alpacas with their cute babies, even there was Lama too The staff were so friendly Inside and outside of the shop were some fun activities for kids, like drawing, play mat and toys, books to read, Trampoline and etc... We really enjoyed it
Cornerstone Alpacas is an amazing place to spend with friends and family. The manager is a top bloke, friendly, approachable and is happy to share information and answer any questions. They have plenty to offer in a way of coffee, lunch and an amazing dinner menu. Stop in and say hello to the friendly workers there, if you're looking for something fun to do. Lots of parking and even an area for kids to play
